About the Role

Technical Proficiency:

Knowledge of heavy equipment systems and components.
Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
Troubleshooting Skills:

Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
Skills in identifying problems through visual inspections and diagnostic tests.
Preventive Maintenance:

Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures.
Skills in performing regular inspections and servicing equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong understanding of mechanical concepts and machinery operations.
Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components.
Reading and Interpreting Technical Manuals:

Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Use of Tools and Equipment:

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Skills in safely operating and maintaining workshop tools and machinery.
Welding and Fabrication:

Basic welding skills for repairing metal components.
Ability to fabricate parts if necessary.
Safety Practices:

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
Computer Skills:

Familiarity with computer systems and diagnostic software.
Basic understanding of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

  • General Driver's License (SIM B2 Umum):

    • This license allows the mechanic to operate light vehicles and may be necessary for driving to and from work sites or for test-driving vehicles after repairs.

  • Work Permit (Surat Izin Kerja):

    • Issued by the employer or contractor, this permit authorizes the mechanic to work at the mining site.

  • Work Experience Certificate (Surat Keterangan Pengalaman Kerja):

    • Documentation of the mechanic's relevant work experience, often required as part of job applications or site access requirements.

  • Health Permit (Surat Izin Kesehatan):

    • A health certificate issued by a registered doctor or medical facility confirming the mechanic's physical fitness for the job.

  • Technical Training Certificate (Sertifikat Pelatihan Teknis):

    • Certification showing completion of technical training relevant to heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (Sertifikat Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja):

    • Certification indicating completion of safety training specific to mining operations, ensuring awareness of safety protocols and regulations.

  • Identity Card (KTP):

    • A valid national identity card required for all residents in Indonesia, used for identification purposes.
