About the Role

Driving Proficiency:

Excellent driving skills, especially with heavy vehicles.
Proficiency in operating different types of dump trucks.
Knowledge of Safety Regulations:

Understanding and adherence to road safety regulations.
Awareness of specific safety protocols for operating heavy machinery.
Vehicle Maintenance:

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Skills in conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Loading and Unloading Skills:

Ability to properly load and unload materials.
Knowledge of weight distribution and securing loads to prevent shifting.
Navigation Skills:

Proficiency in using maps, GPS systems, and route planning.
Ability to navigate through various terrains and weather conditions.
Time Management:

Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
Skills in planning routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
Attention to Detail:

Ability to notice and address any issues with the vehicle or load.
Thoroughness in completing logs and reports.
Communication Skills:

Clear and effective communication with dispatchers, site personnel, and customers.
Skills in reporting delays, accidents, or other issues promptly.
Endurance and Physical Fitness:

Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading materials.

Requirements

  • SIM BII (Heavy Vehicle Driver's License):

    • A driving license specifically for heavy vehicles, including dump trucks.

  • Health Certificate:

    • A certificate from a doctor confirming the driver is in good physical and mental health to operate heavy machinery.

  • Drug-Free Certificate:

    • A certificate stating that the driver is free from illegal substances, often required for safety-sensitive positions.

  • Heavy Equipment Operation Certification:

    • Certification confirming that the driver has undergone training and is certified to operate heavy equipment like dump trucks.

  • Identity Card (KTP):

    • A valid national identity card required for all residents in Indonesia.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Certification (K3 Certification):

    • Certification indicating that the driver has completed training in occupational health and safety according to mining industry standards.

  • Work Experience Letter:

    • Documentation of the driver’s work experience, which may be required by some employers or regulatory bodies.
